life. Moreover for scholarship hunters that need more motivation because it is
not easy and full of challenges to register, complete the requirements for getting
a scholarship. Failure can be very easy
attacked the scholarship hunters that will frighten their mind to give up for
hunting a scholarship. Writer of this book consist of awardee of LPDP UIN
Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang that very exist scholarship in Indonesia. All the
writer had have done great job for telling their struggle for being accepted as
LPDP scholarship. The stories by the writer will motivate the scholarship hunters
to not stop have a dream and keep going up for it.
Siluet impian, a book by 25 awardee LPDP UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim
Malang that can we say as a collection of story by all the writer. Basically,
the story is about their struggle, ikhtiar, and chance for being one of awardee
LPDP. Initially, this book will interest for the one who want to
dedicate themselves for country, because it is exist on the cover of the book
that “A book that dedicated for country”. Similarly, the cover of the book look
very interesting too with a sword and the shield filled in with words that
seems like the conclusion of the whole book, For instance: Tawakkal, sabar,
motivasi, mimpi, doa, kesempatan, etc. Moreover, the size of the book is
perfectly fit, neither very big nor very small, easier for reader to bring it
everywhere and read it while they having leisure time because the book is
divided into 25 different stories. Not only the size but also the font of the
book very fit perfectly that reader will be comfortable to read this book.
Motivating scholarship hunters by telling how an awardee of
scholarship struggling is the best way. 25 awardee have different stories that
will elaborate reader’s mind about step by step to be an awardee. A half of
awardee were failed in the first registration but they keep going on and
successful in the second registration. The stories also share about why they
failed, how to fix the failure, the importance of praying and blessing from
parents, the importance of giving the best effort and any others motivation
quotes to not give up and burn the spirit of the reader for hunting a scholarship.
Furthermore, all the stories have their own characteristic that will not let
the reader bored to read all the stories and each stories are not a long story.
All the stories have a strong point and characteristic that perhaps, you will get
the point just by read the tittle and quotes of each stories. The readers will learn
for 25 different way to be accepted and motivated for hunting a scholarship.
All the stories are told about the 25
awardee of LPDP that struggling for being accepted for a scholarship. Even if
all the stories are different at the point of characteristic, there are some
stories that bored to read because the story are so mainstream and perhaps the readers have read about the story
like that before. There are some stories that do not well written, because the
language are so silly. For example the writers were using word “hehe, haha,
wkwk, lho, sumpah dahh. nih” [p.66-67]. It just will distract the readers to
read. Those word do not suppose to be in a book like this.
All the stories are very interesting
to read and for scholarship hunters that can take the positive side of the
stories and learn about writer failure before. In conclusion, by seeing the
superiority of this book is the readers will learn and read about step by step,
why can someone accepted as awardee of scholarship, how they fix the failure,
the way they keep spirit of and keep going on, and the secret how they can be
accepted, there are exist in this book and so i highly recommended this book
for the one who need more motivation for hunting a scholarship and increase the
chance to be accepted for a scholarship.
